Write labels using a wide-tip marker such has a chisel-tip sharpie or a pentel paint pen.
Write the label twice when dealing with labels that are up to 3 characters, when 4 characters are required, a single label is sufficient.
Line up the first label with the "key" or "keyhole" and the second label directly opposite that
